А-6ZhV Hollow Charges

  • Designed for blasting operations in underground mine faces (not firedamp and combustible dust hazardous) and for breaking of oversized boulders.

А-6ZhV Hollow Charges

  • Assigned to Class C Explosives, Group 2, by application environment, they can be initiated by electric detonator, blasting cap and detonating cord.

А-6ZhV Hollow Charges

  • Ammonite 6ZhV charge is housed in polymer casing which consists of a shell and a lid. The shell is provided with a hemispherical hollowness at the bottom. The lid is fitted with a fixer for an initiation device to be attached to the charge.

  • According to transportation and storage hazard classification, the explosive is assigned to Class 1, Division 1.1 and Compatibility group D. UN number is 0059.

А-6ZhV Hollow Charges

  • Supplies: in corrugated cardboard boxes. Nominal explosives net weight per box is not over 25 kg.
  • A-6ZhV Hollow Charges can be delivered by railway, maritime, river and departmental motor transport.

Hollow charge – 1000

  • Suitable for blasting fragmentation of boulders in open cast and underground mining, in mines and pits not endangered by firedamp and combustible dust; as well as for crushing of pig iron and steel scrap in iron and steelmaking, at ambient air temperature of -10 0С to +50 0С.

  • Assigned to Class C explosives (by application environment), it is initiated by electric detonator, blasting cap and detonating cord.

  • The charge is filled with water gel explosive (Gelex 650), which is fire dangerous and explosion hazardous material.

  • Without boosters, normally containing highly sensitive explosives, these charges are safer to handle than cast TNT charges coming with boosters.
