SEISMIC WATER-GEL CHARGES

SEISMIC WATER-GEL CHARGES

Seismic Water-Gel Charge – 35

TU U 3.50-14310112-120-98

Seismic charge – 35

  • The product is intended for seismic operations in surface holes under ambient in-hole temperature of +2ºС to +50ºС, at a depth of up to 50 m.
  • Suitable for open pit and underground mining in pits and mines not liable to be endangered by firedamp and combustible dust; for boreholes under any water conditions;
  • May serve as boosters to initiate borehole and other types of charges of low-sensitivity industrial explosives (in open pit mining as well as for trim blasting).

Seismic charge – 35

  • The two types of Seismic charges – 35 are fabricated:
    • For summer conditions (April to October)
    • For winter conditions (November to March)

Seismic charge – 35

  • The charge is filled with water gel explosive (Gelex 650), which is fire dangerous and explosion hazardous material.

Seismic charge – 35

  • Without boosters, normally containing highly sensitive explosives, these charges are safer to handle than cast TNT charges coming with boosters.

Seismic charge – 35

  • In contrast to conventional explosives, these charges are distinct for their low sensitivity to mechanical impact, no dusting and accumulation of static electricity, user-friendliness and application safety.
