PROPOSALS ON CREATION OF ROCKET-SPACE COMPLEX WITH LAUNCH VEHICLES THAT OPERATE ON OXYGEN-KEROSENE PROPELLANTS

SFTE "SpetsTechnoexport" proposes to consider a possibility of creation of Space-Rocket Complex capable of solving the whole range of mission tasks related to launch of existing and perspective satellites and manned spacecraft.


SFTE "SpetsTechnoexport" proposes to consider a possibility of creation of Space-Rocket Complex capable of solving the whole range of mission tasks related to launch of existing and perspective satellites and manned spacecraft.

The complex stipulates application of low, medium and heavy-class launch vehicles that are developed on the basis of Indian and Ukrainian technologies.

  We propose flexible approach to creation of new complex that is based on analysis of solvable tasks along with first-priority development of complex with most-demand configuration and gradual increase of its capabilities.

 

MAYAK-L LV

Light-class Mayak-L launch vehicle is designed on the basis of technical solutions, units, assemblies and systems that are used in Zenit launch vehicle.

LV uses environment-friendly propellants: oxygen and kerosene.

The propulsion systems developed by Yuzhnoye SDO are used as part of the LV:

- 1st stage - 4 RD-801 engines;

- 2nd stage - RD-809M engine.

Lift-off mass of the LV ~3741.

Payload mass:

- to LEO - 8.4 t;

- to SSO - 6.0 t.

 

 

 

 

 

Mayak-L LV is capable to solve the following tasks:

  • Injection of commercial spacecraft to LEO, Sun-Synchronous and Geostationary Transfer Orbits;
  • Launch of light manned or cargo spacecraft designed for delivery of crew and cargo to Near-Earth Orbit or to the International Space Station.

 

MAYAK-M LV


LV uses environment-friendly propellants: oxygen and kerosene.
Medium-class Mayak-M LV is designed on the basis of technical solutions, units, assemblies and systems that are used in Mayak-L LV and Zenit LV.

The propulsion systems developed by Yuzhnoye SDO are used as part of the LV:

- 1st stage - 4 RD-810 engines;

- 2nd stage - RD-801 engine with extended nozzle;

 

Lift-off mass of the LV - 510-522 t. Payload mass:

- to LEO - 14.5 t;

- to GTO - 5.41 (with the Mayak-L stage).

 

Two-stage Mayak-M LV is used for launching spacecraft to low orbits.

For launching spacecraft to medium and high orbits the LV is equipped with the Upper Stage on the basis of Mayak-L LV second stage or Indian CUS (C12 or C15).

Mayak-M LV is capable to solve the following tasks:

  • Injection of spacecraft to low, sunsynchronous and other near-Earth orbits;
  • Injection of heavy commercial communication satellites into Geo-Transfer or Geostationary Orbits;
  • Launch of heavy cargo and manned spacecraft for delivery of crew and cargo to ISS or other space stations.

     

 

MAYAK-H LV

 

Heavy-class Mayak-H LV is created on the basis of Mayak-M LV by equipping first stage of the LV with the solid-propellant boosters.

2 Indian boosters on the basis of PSLV 1st - stage engine are used as part of the LV.

Lift-off mass of the LV is 650-660 t. Payload mass:

- to LEO - 21.0 t;

- to GTO - 8.0 t (with the stage of Mayak-L LV).

Two-stage configuration of the LV is used for injection of spacecraft onto low orbits. For injection of spacecraft onto medium and high orbits the LV is equipped with the Upper Stage on the basis of the second stage of Mayak-L LV or Indian CUS (C15 or C25).

Mayak-H LV is capable to solve the following tasks:

• Injection of perspective heavy geostationary commercial communication satellites;

• Implementation of dual launches of medium geostationary commercial communication satellites;

• Implementation of cluster launches of commercial satellites onto low and medium near-Earth orbits;

• Launch of heavy modules of space stations.

    

 

MAYAK-SH LV

 

The superheavy-class Mayak-SH LV is created on the basis of Mayak-M LV by equipping it with 2 liquid-propellant boosters developed on the basis of the first stage unit.

Lift-off mass of LV ~ 1250 t. Payload mass:

-to LEO - 42.4 t;

-to GTO - 14.2 t.

Two-stage configuration of the LV is used for injection of spacecraft onto low orbits. For injection of spacecraft onto medium and high orbits the LV is equipped with the Upper Stage on the basis of the second stage of Mayak-L LV or Indian CUS (C25).

 

Mayak-SH LV is capable to solve the following tasks:

• Implementation of dual launches of heavy geostationary commercial communication satellites;

• Implementation of cluster launches of commercial spacecraft onto low and medium near-Earth orbits;

• Injection of perspective geostationary space platforms and units of solar power stations;

• Launch of heavy modules of space stations, elements of lunar and interplanetary manned spacecraft.
