MANNED FLIGHTS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF LUNARPROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION

Block E was developed for the program of manned mission to the Moon.Block E was designed for descending and take-off of manned spacecraft from the Moon.

  • The works on development of Block E were begun in 1964;
  • First demo launch as part of Т2К article was performed in 1969 on Soyuz LV;
  • Test launches during 1969 - 1970 - totally 3 (all of them were successful).

It is proposed to develop transportation spacecraft on the basis of Block E for delivery of payloads to the Moon surface.Transportation of spacecraft for flight on trajectory Earth-Moon and soft descending onto the Moon surface is developed by means of adaptation of the Block E to peculiarities of new transportation system, equipping with the lacking systems that are developed by Customers's Side in cooperation with Ukraine, in particular with control and navigation systems, descending device.

GSLV Mk III LV or LV of Zenit family can be used as a launch vehicle for launching of transportation spacecraft. Further it is possible to develop manned lunar spacecraft on the basis of Block E in order to provide soft descending of astronauts onto the Moon surface and their subsequent return onto circumlunar orbit.

Also we are able to support Customer's Space Research Organizations in development of the expedition scheme and transportation system for its implementation, super-heavy LV in particular.
