FLOATING DOCKS

Ukraine have facilities to build unique composite docks. They have reinforced-concrete pontoons and metal sidewalls. The application of heavy marine concretes on sulphate - resisting portland cement base for pontoon allows to increase quality and life cycle of floating docks, their pontoon part (bottom, outsides, stock deck and bulkheads) are resistant to corrosion in aggressive sea water, thus the maintenance expenses on such docks are less then on the metal docks.

A unique technology of caisson free longitudinal and lateral joining of the reinforced-concrete pontoons afloat from separate parts gives the opportunity to build the really huge docks, satisfying the requirements of the Customers and Classification Societies as well. The real terms of reinforced-concrete and composite docks operation life exceeds operation life of the metal blocks.
