Recently certain media spread rumors about the “problems” in contract execution for overhaul and modernization of the An-32 aircraft fleet of Indian Air Force by Ukrainian side. In particular, it is mentioned about allegedly "missing" of the last five An-32s from 40 ones, which were sent for upgrade to Ukraine.
SFTE "SpetsTehnoExport" announces that such information is absolutely untrue. At present time all five entioned aircrafts are available at the State Enterprise "Plant 410 CA" (Kyiv, Ukraine) under production process according to the terms of the contract. Progress of work is constantly monitored by the Embassy of India to Ukraine Earlier, 35 renovated and modernized aircrafts have been successfully handed over to the Customer.
It should be noted, that false information provided by certain media regarding “untraceability” of An-32s in Ukraine was officially denied by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of India (http://pib.nic.in/newsite/PrintRelease. aspx?relid=117836).
