SpetsTechnoExport took part in the meeting of the Ukrainian-Indian working group on military-technical cooperation, which was working in Ukraine since June 4 to June 6.
During this period, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the SFTE " SpetsTechnoExport " held a number of meetings and negotiations with the delegation of the Republic of India headed by the Joint Secretary (Planning & lnternational Cooperation) of the Department of Defence Shri Shambhu S. Kumaran.
The parties discussed the state of bilateral cooperation in the field of military-technical cooperation. The Indian delegation identified the priorities of cooperation with Ukraine, which should become later a part of the national program “Made in India”. Ukraine has a great deal of experience in successfully implementing defense contracts for the Republic of India, so expanding cooperation will be beneficial for both countries.
The leadership of the Indian delegation emphasized the importance of cooperation with Ukraine as a developer of high-tech equipment and armaments, in particular, gas turbine engines for ships, aircraft engines and modern armored vehicles.
Representatives of the Indian Department of Defence expressed their interest in engaging private companies - both Indian and Ukrainian - to cooperate with them and invited to hold a conference for representatives of the defense industry.
