22 July 2019 - Officials of the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine have performed in the head office of SE SFTE ”SpetsTechnoExport” the seizure of the documents concerning the supply during 2015-2017 of the pendant early warning system for the needs of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. This system was produced by a company from the USA, supplied to Ukraine in full completion, passed all the stages of testing and now it performs the tasks, stipulated by technical documentation, at the border of Ukraine.
The SE SFTE “SpetsTechnoExport” leadership provided all necessary originals and copies of documents to law enforcement officials. The procedure of document seizure takes place in quiet atmosphere and does not affect the operational work of the state enterprise.
However, in connection with numerous appeals of journalists, it should be noted that embezzlement by a state-owned enterprise "SpetsTechnoExport" or its employees of money resources that were paid to an American company for the supplied, installed and functioning equipment is impossible, since SE SFTE "SpetsTechnoExport" is a state-authorized special exporter and is not the manager of public funds. Also, the company does not make a decision on the choice of one or another defense-related equipment for the purpose of its procurement for the needs of state power structures. In this case, the company SE SFTE "SpetsTechnoExport" was engaged in the supply of equipment in pursuance of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the state contract with the customer.
SE SFTE "SpetsTechnoExport" intends to continue to facilitate the work of law enforcement authorities and provide them with all the necessary information for conduction of an impartial investigation.
