During the period of 3 to 5 February 2021, a large delegation of Ukraine visited the Aero India 2021 International Exhibition of Aerospace and Defense Industry in Bangalore. SpetsTechnoExport SFTE hosted the joint stand of Ukrainian enterprises. The official delegation of Ukraine was headed by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Taran.
"First of all, we want to hand it to the Indian partners, who, in the context of the global challenge, have managed to make possible holding such a large-scale event. Our presence here is evidence of the great mutual interest of Ukraine and India in the development of partnerships in the field of aviation, space, defense technology, and armaments production," the Minister said.

The SpetsTechnoExport company exhibited the Ukrainian passenger plane AN-148 to the visitors of the Indian exhibition.
The members of the Ukrainian delegation held successful negotiations, during which, they managed to sign several contracts and memoranda on strategic areas of cooperation.
"We have held a number of talks with the leadership of the Indian Armed Forces, with partners from other countries to promote the Ukrainian aircraft industry and develop Ukraine's defense industry. As a result of the meetings, contracts worth more than $70 million were signed,” Yuriy Gusev, Chairman of Ukroboronprom State Conglomerate, said.
About Aero India
Aero India is the largest air show in Asia, held every two years at the Indian Air Force Base in Bangalore (Karnataka, the Republic of India). This year the event became the first hybrid aerospace event in the world, the exposition of which was demonstrated in real and virtual formats.
The event brought together a large number of exhibitors from around the world in the fields of military and civil aviation, aerospace, airport infrastructure, and defense technology. Leaders of the world aviation industry from 14 countries took part in the work of the hybrid exhibition Aero India 2021.
