Light armored personnel carrier
Armored fighting vehicles with 6×6 and 8×8 wheel formula. Produced using some spare parts of BTR-60 (mostly suspension parts). Unlike the traditional Soviet BTR, it is designed according to the modern-day trends in compartment disposition: engine compartment in front, troops/fighting compartment – at the rear. Manufactured as a basic platform for differentiated modifications – armored personnel carrier, infantry fighting vehicle, ambulance, command-and-control vehicle, repair vehicle, fire support vehicle (with mortar or howitzer).
