In connection with the active dissemination by the Russian media of false information regarding the suspension of the contract for the purchase of the Ukrainian AN-178 aircraft for Peru, the state-owned company SpetsTechnoExport is making the following statement.
The foreign trade contract between the State Enterprise "SpetsTechnoExport" and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Peru for the supply of AN-178 aircraft for the needs of the National Police of the Republic of Peru is valid and in the mutual interest.
Thus, the information that the Russian media began to spread in the media about the suspension of this contract is not true.
As of September 2020, the Ukrainian state enterprise "ANTONOV" has successfully completed the assembly of the glider of the serial aircraft AN-178 (under serial number 006) for the National Police of the Republic of Peru. In the assembly and assembly shop, the sections of the aircraft fuselage were completely docked with the centerplane, tail and wing consoles. All work related to the modernization and installation of new equipment is performed according to the production schedule.
It should be noted that after winning the tender of the Ukrainian company and signing a contract for the supply of AN-178 aircraft for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Peru in the Russian and Spanish media space is not the first time there are attempts to launch a large-scale information campaign aircraft manufacturer and Ukraine as a whole as an aircraft-building state.
It will be recalled that in November 2019, SpetsTechnoExport, a part of Ukroboronprom, signed a contract with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Peru for the supply of the AN-178 multi-purpose transport aircraft. The signing of the agreement opened the Latin American market for a new generation of ANTONOV aircraft.
In July of the current year, SE "ANTONOV" prematurely rolled out the fuselage AN-178 №006. Currently, the manufacturer manufactures and purchases systems, components, units, as well as aeronautical and electronic equipment.
It is known that a total of 25 Ukrainian companies and about 30 European and North American suppliers are involved in the supply chain of units for the new AN-178.
The configuration of the aircraft ordered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Peru will allow to carry out:
transportation of personnel (100 people);
transportation of passengers (80 people);
delivery of goods (up to 18 tons); air landing of cargoes;
evacuation of patients on stretchers with the possibility of providing medical care (40 people).

The AN-178 multi-purpose transport aircraft was developed at the ANTONOV state enterprise, which is a part of Ukroboronprom. AN-178 is an evolution of the family of regional jets AN-148 / AN-158, which have passed international certification. The maximum flight altitude of AN-178 is 12.2 km, the flight range is 5500 km, the maximum speed is 825 km / h. The aircraft has a unique shape of the fuselage, a ramp for loading and unloading bulky cargo. The aircraft is able to land and take off from any airfield, including ground runways. The AN-178 made its first flight in May 2015. Since then, measures have been taken to import the aircraft assembly. As part of world presentations, the AN-178 visited airfields in Great Britain, France, Germany, Turkey, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
